SUMMARY

Drives truck or automobile over established route to deliver parts to service technicians in the field.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Drive vehicle to deliver parts, consumables, uniforms and miscellaneous items to technicians at various locations.

Pick up will-calls from vendors, and writes customer orders and instructions 

Maintain accurate documentation for parts deliveries.

Maintain delivery vehicle appearance and promptly report maintenance needs to supervisor 

Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by company's insurance carrier.

Must be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as necessary.

Report all accidents regardless of fault.

Must follow all safety procedures and use good judgment in regards to safety.

Performs other duties and projects as assigned by the Service Department managers.

Shop & Field Level 1 Service Technician

SUMMARY:   The primary objectives of the Service technician are (1) the proficient repair and service of the customer's equipment, (2) to maintain good communication and working relationships with customers, peers and management, (3) to represent and sell the entire company, (4) to be profitable with direct labor billing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Repair all types of equipment that RHSI sells and services.

Update training and skills on a continuing basis.

Train other employees as needed.

Maintain a profitable billing level.

Follow all Service Department procedures 

Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.

Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.

Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.

Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work.

Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.

Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle.

Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.

Represent the entire company at all times.

Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification if applicable.

Maintain good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.

Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by the company’s insurance carrier.

Report accidents promptly, regardless of fault.

Account for 100% of available time during working hours.

Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.

Must coordinate all overtime with assigned supervisor.

Must follow all procedures in the company’s Employee Handbook.

Service Apprentice Technician

SUMMARY:   The primary objectives of the Service Apprentice Technician are (1) the proficient repair and service of the customer's equipment, (2) to maintain good communication and working relationships with customers, peers and management, (3) to represent and sell the entire company, (4) to be profitable with direct labor billing, (5) work within all safety guidelines set by RHSI and CAL OSHA.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generally, the Field Service Apprentice shadows Field Service Technicians to learn repair and safety procedures from experienced technicians. The Apprentice will be assigned to various territories to work with other technicians as necessary. Once training has progressed to an acceptable level, the Apprentice will be assigned to fill in for technicians when they are absent for vacation or other leaves.

 Update training and skills on a continuing basis.

 Follow all Field Service Department procedures.

 Communicate with assigned District Service Manager.

 Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.

 Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.

 Perform light repair and scheduled service work.

 Maintain productivity standards set forth by Service management.

 Maintain a minimum tool list.

 Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.

 Perform complete, excellent Scheduled maintenance as prescribed by the Field Service Department.

 Document all needed repairs on customer's equipment.

 Maintain a clean and orderly service vehicle, inside and outside.

 Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.

 Fill in for other Techs when assigned to do so by Field Service Department.

 Pass Raymond Basic Certification within 6 months and achieve other certifications as opportunities are presented.
